<p>The Active Cooling Case for iPad&trade; Mini&nbsp;prevents unexpected shutdowns resulting from overheating while in direct sunlight to keep pilots safe. The self-contained case is vented and has built-in fans, which are aimed at the hottest areas of the device to circulate cool air over the back of the iPad. The quiet fans have been tested to ensure they do not interfere with cockpit electronics.</p>
<p>The X-naut cradle is powered by AA batteries, making it completely wireless, and can run for over 10 hours on a single set of batteries. Tracking battery status is easy with a test button and indicator light conveniently located on the side of the mount. Alternatively, a USB charging cable can also provide power to the cradle while in use. (AA batteries and USB charging cable not included.)</p>
<p>Built to last, the case features conformal-coated electronics that resist moisture and dust, sturdy battery compartment locks, and a spring-loaded clip-on top making iPad insertion simple and secure.</p>

The M-7/DC Electret Microphone is a noise canceling type designed to operate in place of carbon and amplified dynamic microphones. The microphone provides clear, crisp voice transmission while dramatically reducing omni-directional ambient noise. It will not operate in circuits that do not supply a DC bias voltage. Most modern aviation communications equipment do supply this required voltage. If unsure, consult with your radio technical manual or with your local avionics shop. It is intended for use with wire booms.

The Model M-7A is an Electret, noise-cancelling microphone designed to operate in place of carbon and amplified dynamic microphones.

The David Clark Company Model DC-87 Dynamic Moving Coil, noise-cancelling microphone that delivers clear, crisp voice transmission. The Model DC-87 is designed for use in military low impedance applications. It is a direct replacement for the M-87/AIC microphone. Place microphone no more than 1/8" from lips for optimum signal to noise ratio (maximum noise cancellation). The DC-87 microphone cannot operate in circuits that supply a DC bias voltage.

This replacement jack is used on the master station and remote headset station. It allows the headset to connect to the master station and/or the remote headset station by inserting the appropriate plug.
