Note: This programmer does not measure power or read the beacon transmission transmitted by the radio. The FPT 8805 series reads the internal memory and reprograms the ELT to approved Cospas-Sarsat protocols only. Aftermarket 406 power test equipment such as Viavi 10K and WST BT-200 are required to provide the required annual beacon power test. Please contact your local authority for ELT testing requirements for scheduled inspections.
