Description
The ALDCBS1X2T GPS amplified splitter has one input and two outputs and is based on the Wilkinson splitter design. The frequency response covers the entire L-band (GNSS) frequencies with excellent gain flatness. In normal configuration, the RF output (J1) passes DC from a connected GPS receiver through the splitter and onto the antenna. This allows the GPS receiver to power both the antenna and the splitters internal amplifier. The other RF output (J2) is DC blocked and incorporates a 200 resistor to simulate the antenna current draw preventing false antenna alarm faults.
Features
This GPS amplified splitter includes one input and two outputs each with TNC connectors.
- Excellent gain flatness for all GNSS frequencies
- Provides a typical amplifier gain of 22 dB
- Extremely flat group delay with a variation less than 1 ns
- Phase matched outputs (less than 1.0)
- Prevents antenna alarm faults from connected devices with 200 DC blocked outputs
