Description

Selection of transmitted and received audio, as well as emergency operation, LIVE, KEYED, or VOX intercom are also provided. The AMS44 controller also supports communications for the pilot and copilot, and up to five passengers. The AMS44 audio controller is configurable during installation time for use by the pilot from the left or right side of the controller via internal jumpers and switches; the five passenger positions are also configurable for left or right side operation. 

This AMS44 dual channel controller provides:

  • Front panel selectable transceivers (5 ea.)
  • Front panel selectable navaids (5 ea.)
  • Internal selectable RX inputs (2 ea.)
  • Direct Audio Inputs (2 ea.)

Features:

  • Both controllers equally transmit between left and right sides while allow hand microphone use
  • During transmit operation, the sidetone feature remains usable while muting other channels, except DIRECT 2
  • A TX rotary selector automatically selects the associated RX audio
  • RX inputs are selected using 3-position switches conveniently located on the front panel
  • LIVE, KEYED, or variable VOX ICS operations can be selected from a single control
  • Dynamic noise reduction and voice band filtering provides the clearest audio
  • Transparent ICS provide the pilot and copilot with immediate transmit operation
  • Isolation and Emergency modes remove the pilot from interfering with normal passenger ICS
  • ICS Tie line allow multiple controller installations
