<h4 class="title">The AA21-403 is identical to the AA21-400 with the following exceptions:</h4>
<ul>
<li>The standard white backlighting is changed to NVIS Green B backlighting.</li>
<li>The power status is indicated by the postion of the POWER switch in relation to the "ON" text legend instead of by LED indication.</li>
<li>The three locking switches have a black anodixed finish,m instead of a plated finish.</li>
<li>The fluted rubber volume control knob (VOL) is replaced by a grey aerospace knob.</li>
<li>The green bat cover covering the Power switch is replaced by a white bat cover.</li>

<li>The speaker outtput is replaced with a CABIN PA MIC output.</li>
<li>An INT/EXT discfrete function is added.</li>
<li>The POWER switch and POWER ON indicator are not installed and the unit is hardwired on.</li>
<li>The faceplate backlighting is 5Vdc NVIS Green A compliant.</li>

<p>The AA21-400 maximizes the performance and reliability of your&nbsp;aircraft&rsquo;s PA system with state-of-the-art design, improved frequency&nbsp;response, and an optimized microphone input circuit. We designed and&nbsp;built the unit to perform under the toughest conditions, while offering&nbsp;the features and reliability our customers need from a loudspeaker&nbsp;system.</p>
<p>Integrators will appreciate the AA21-400&rsquo;s simple interface with existing aircraft audio systems. We also made the unit configurable to receive&nbsp;either radio or CD audio, allowing for radio rebroadcast capability or playback of recorded information. All audio inputs and outputs on the AA21-400 are field adjustable to allow the loudspeaker system to be optimized for the aircraft&rsquo;s operational role.&nbsp;The AA21-400&rsquo;s integrated 25-watt speaker amplifier is designed to drive an 8 Ohm speaker arrangement for internal paging. A &lsquo;+3 dB&rsquo;&nbsp;function allows the output level of the system to be reduced 3 dB by grounding the input control line. Removing the ground returns the system&nbsp;to full output.</p>
