Hazmat - ELT E-04 Retrofit Kit
Description: The E-04R Retrofit Kit is a direct replacement for the model E-01 ELT's and transmits on 406 as well as 121.5 MHz. For increased accuracy it can also accept NEMA 0183 GPS position data from Garmin and Bendix/King GPS. The E-04 external antenna will utilize a current antenna mounting and wiring installation.

The C406 series Emergency Locator Transmitter is an automatic fixed type ELT which transmits on 121.5, 243.0, and 406 MHz frequencies. In the event of a crash the ELT automatically activates transmitting the standard swept tone on 121.5 and 243.0 MHz. It also transmits a 406 MHz encoded digital message to the Cospas/Sarsat satellite system, which allows for rapid identification and reduces Search and Rescue response time.
Model C406-1 is a single BNC output ELT. Compatible with optional Nav Interface.
