The AA85 (AA85-001) is a TSO approved intercom system designed to meet the needs of pilots in demanding environments. The InterVOX II™ system is a high quality voice-activated intercom that brings many features found in larger commercial systems. The AA85 intercom can accommodate two, four, or six place installations while providing full transmit and intercom capabilities for the pilot and co-pilot. Plus, intercom functions for up to four passengers are also provided. An exclusive tie line function allows the AA85 to be a part of a complex multi-unit system as either a primary or secondary component.

• ANF™ (Active Noise Filtering) provides clean and clear intercom communications by filtering out unwanted ambient noise
• Built with high quality components such as sealed gold plated contacted switches, dry nitrogen filled/high vibration rated sealed relays, gold contact connector and a fully masked, post coated, flame retardant circuit board
• Pilot Isolated Mode provides pilots with a separate communications channel that is separate from passenger intercom or music
• Music is muted during all radio and ICS activity and slowly returns to normal volume when ICS operation is finished
• 11 to 32 VDC power input
• Headset output power rating: 100mw into 600Ω per channel
• Bicolor LED-ICS/Tx activity indicator lights up amber for ICS activity and green for transmit 
• Pilots can override the co-pilot during radio operations
• Individual microphone gating reduces aircraft noise within the intercom through independent microphone circuits
• Horizontal or vertical mount options available
• Emergency Fail-Safe automatically bypasses the ICS feature and is routed back to the radio audio system in the event of power loss
• Short circuit protection ensures continued operation in the event of headset failure
